What is Afterpay? Ever found something you just had to have, but couldn’t wait to layby it? Afterpay solves that problem, allowing you to you buy now and pay later! We’ve recently introduced this new payment option and it’s currently available for online orders only. Afterpay allows you to have your online orders shipped to you as just like a normal purchase, you then pay this order off over four equal instalments (paid to Afterpay) interest free!
Why are we introducing this new payment option? We know how frustrating it is to wait to pay off a layby, or missing out on something online (especially as many of our items are only produced in limited numbers) so we’ve introduced Afterpay. Rather than wait until you can pay in full for an item, you can order and receive items straight away then pay them off in four instalments. With Afterpay, you can secure an item (before it sells out) then pay it off over four instalments. It’s like an alternative payment option to the traditional lay-by service offered instore – but with instant gratification.
Who can use Afterpay? Afterpay is available as a payment option if you: Live in New Zealand. Are at least 18 years old. Use a credit or debit card to make the purchase.
What will Afterpay cost me? One of the best things about Afterpay is that there is no interest added to your schedule of four fortnightly payments. These are paid directly to Afterpay. If a payment is due but not received by Afterpay in accordance with their payment schedule, a $10 late payment fee will be charged, with a further $7 late payment fee added seven days later if the payment remains unpaid.
